It's been a bad day. Didn't get into university. My grades were too poor 
I'm goin through a clearing process and hopefully I can get into the uni that I had my heart set on.
It's my mates birthday and I've got work at 7 in the morning I gotta get up at six which means I can't stay out and celebrate it How fucking shit is the world.

hmmm... yes, i can see that today is not a good day.. i'm sorry you didn't get the grades you want...
My brother was speaking to a very good guitarist the other day (actually he's just joined the band, but that's an aside) and asked him if he'd had lessons etc. and how he got to be so good... his reply "failing six form college was the best thing that could have happened to me"...
you probably don't see it now but who knows where the future will lead you, don't dwell on what you can't now change  only on what you can 
oh, and, don't be such a lightweight... you haven't lived until you've gone to work on two hours sleep, thrown up in the skip outside the building on the way in and spent the entire day in an alcoholic sweat. 
I SOOOO shouldn't be allowed to have children EVER.

Oh Huw! How long did it take you to call?! Don't worry m'lovely, even if you don't get into the one you wanted, there are many other choices.
